A resident from the Heatherlands Estate, Headley Down in Hampshire called police after somebody tried to gain access to her property. The man claimed to be from Drum and produced an ID which the quick-witted resident realised was not real.
She shut the door on the man and immediately reported the incident to Crimestopppers. A man, who had apparently tried to gain access to six other properties, was arrested on 23 June.
Always remember to check the ID credentials of anyone who tries to gain access to your property and always take a close look at it. This is your right! If they just hold up what appears to be an ID card, insist on taking a closer look at it!
All Radian visitors will have an ID card which they will be happy to show you on arrival at your property.
