The opening event for Sawyers Close Play area on Wednesday 27 July was a great success. The play area was installed after the Royal Borough applied for and received a grant from The Veolia Environmental Trust, following requests from the Sawyers Close Residents Association The Royal Borough also contributed towards the improvements of the local park.
The opening was attended by staff from RBWM, local councillors, Sawyers Close Resident Association members, Community Safety Warden Michelle Simmonds and staff from Radian Neighbourhood Officer, Duncan Holden and Community Development Officer Shabana Farooq.
The event was very well attended by children and families of Sawyers Close, the children really enjoyed the new park and also had the apportunity to get their face painted.
Thank you to Veolia and Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead for making improvements to the local park of Sawyers Close!
